When I enable tethering, I lose mms. I've tried different apn's, but nothing has brought it back yet. I'm thinking if I just deleted the tethering option, it would bring back my picture messaging... but how the hell do i do that?

I am able to set all of the above settings except MMS Max Message Size. The default setting is 1048576. When I try to erase this, it reappears when I leave the field. Is there a way to override the default and clear this field so it is blank? I have a 3Gs 3.1.2 on Tmobile data plan. I can currently send/receive SMS, but am unable to send MMS. Please help.
FYI - additonal solutions can be found on forums.tmobile.com under Non T-moblie devices - posts are from 12/2009

I have the same problem on my iPhone and its been goin on every since the nation wide outage!..i gave t-mobile a call tonight to make sure i had my settings in correct...well turns out t-mobile HASN'T got the Network back up and running 100% and from the sounds of it they are not sure when it will be up and running.. all the rep could say to me was "the mms has been down since NOV 12th and The Tech support has been working really hard to get it up and running"! to me that sounds like a bunch of BS! this is the first time that ive thought about switching from t-mobile (ive been with them 6 years). We are Paying for features that are NOT working and they (t-mobile) is not sure when they will be back running NOT COOL!
